TRANSPORT RECOMMENDATIONS

If the car is assembled in its own vehicle, the car shall have an open loading platform for easy loading and unloading.
Galvanised and aluminized profiles must be protected against getting wet!

STORAGE RECOMMENDATIONS

Lubrication and passivation of galvanised sheets is protection against white corrosion only during transport.
Sections stored in packages must not be stored outdoors or in rooms exposed to humidity and changing temperatures.

Zinc and aluzinc coatings, especially those which have not yet been exposed to the weather, i.e. without a protective zone, are susceptible to water condensation and have limited access to the air (sheets stored in packages). Particular attention should be paid to unloading in winter conditions and storage in heated warehouses. The large temperature difference between the sheets causes water to settle.

During transport or storage, the wetted metal sheets must be dried and then the profiles must be sealed with gaskets to ensure free air circulation. After drying, the galvanised (aluminised) sections shall be inspected and coated with a layer of protective oil.
Sheets intended for longer storage shall be inspected and then coated with a layer of machine oil for galvanised and aluminized sheets.

Failure to follow the above recommendations will result in the relatively rapid development of zinc corrosion (which may take only a few days for galvanised and aluminised sheets), i.e. white layers loosely bonded to the substrate, which do not protect against corrosion.
